Role: Systems/Software Engineer
Responsibilities:
-Design, develop and implement software systems and software applications to control, monitor and operate the spacecraft and payload systems
-Participate in the design, development and testing of spacecraft and payload systems
-Develop and maintain software documentation and user manuals
-Provide technical support and troubleshoot software issues
-Ensure software systems and applications meet safety, reliability and performance requirements
-Collaborate with other engineers and specialists to ensure successful integration of systems and software
-Stay up-to-date with current technology trends and advancements in the field
-Ensure compliance with government regulations and industry standards
-Provide input and contribute to the overall mission plan and objectives
-Work with project manager to ensure that software deliverables are completed on schedule and within budget
-Ensure that software testing, validation and verification are performed in accordance with established procedures
-Develop software tools and scripts to automate various data processing and analysis tasks
-Participate in flight operations, monitoring and controlling the spacecraft and payload systems during the mission.
