Role: Structural Design Engineer
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop the structural components of the spacecraft and payload that will be used for the mission to Enceladus.
- Conduct stress and fatigue analysis of the spacecraft and payload to ensure they can withstand the harsh conditions of space travel and operations on Enceladus.
- Collaborate with other engineers and teams to integrate the structural components with the propulsion, navigation, and other systems of the spacecraft and payload.
- Ensure that the design of the spacecraft and payload meet all necessary safety and regulatory requirements.
- Continuously evaluate and improve the design of the spacecraft and payload to ensure the mission’s success and the safety of the crew and equipment.
- Provide technical support and guidance to the manufacturing, testing, and launch teams.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in structural design and materials technology to improve the overall performance of the spacecraft and payload.
