Structural Design Engineer

Role: Structural Design Engineer

Responsibilities:

  1. Design and develop the structural components of the spacecraft and payload that will be used for the mission to Enceladus.
  2. Conduct stress and fatigue analysis of the spacecraft and payload to ensure they can withstand the harsh conditions of space travel and operations on Enceladus.
  3. Collaborate with other engineers and teams to integrate the structural components with the propulsion, navigation, and other systems of the spacecraft and payload.
  4. Ensure that the design of the spacecraft and payload meet all necessary safety and regulatory requirements.
  5. Continuously evaluate and improve the design of the spacecraft and payload to ensure the mission’s success and the safety of the crew and equipment.
  6. Provide technical support and guidance to the manufacturing, testing, and launch teams.
  7. Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in structural design and materials technology to improve the overall performance of the spacecraft and payload.
