Job Title: Satellite Communications & Geospatial Officer
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and manage satellite communications and geospatial data acquisition for the Enceladus mission
- Ensure reliable and efficient data transmission from the spacecraft to ground stations
- Collaborate with engineers and scientists to optimize data collection and transmission strategies
- Analyze and interpret geospatial data to support mission objectives
- Maintain and troubleshoot satellite communication equipment
- Stay current on advances in satellite communication technology and assess potential applications for the mission
- Provide technical expertise and support for the selection and procurement of satellite communication equipment and services
- Communicate with external partners and customers to promote the mission and its objectives, and to secure new business opportunities.
