Chief Financial Officer (CFO)
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a financial strategy that aligns with the overall goals and objectives of Space Ocean Corp.
- Oversee all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and financial reporting.
- Ensure the company has adequate cash flow and financial resources to support its mission to Enceladus.
- Analyze and evaluate the financial performance of the company, and provide recommendations for improvements.
- Work closely with other departments, such as Engineering and Operations, to ensure the financial feasibility of the Enceladus mission.
- Develop and maintain relationships with investors and other stakeholders.
- Manage the company’s financial risks and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Provide financial guidance and support to the Board of Directors, and act as a liaison between the Board and management team.
- Collaborate with business development team to identify and evaluate new revenue opportunities and pricing strategy for water sales.
- Develop and maintain financial and accounting systems, policies and procedures, to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
- Provide leadership and direction to the finance team, and work to develop the team’s skills and capabilities.
- Continuously monitor the market and industry trends and adjust the financial strategy as necessary to respond to changes.
